COVID-19 Updates from Blue Cross Pet Hospital
Our hospital will remain open during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that we can best serve or pet-loving community during this difficult time. The health and well-being of your pet, family, and our staff members are our top priority during the pandemic.
We have changed to curbside service, and will only be permitting staff members and pets into our hospital. While we have cut down, as much as possible, on hand to hand contact, we will require you to wear a mask when you are communicating with our staff on our premises. Call times and wait times have increased, and while we are all doing the best that we can to provide you and your pet with the highest level of care possible, we do ask for your patience and kindness when you communicate with our staff.
We are now capable of receiving texts on our main phone number (818) 980-1313. Regular clients of the hospital are encouraged to use the texting capability when they arrive at the hospital. The texting function at Blue Cross Pet Hospital was instituted to allow existing Blue Cross clients to text us upon arrival at the hospital to drop-off or pick up a pet, or pick up a pre-arranged prescription. The system is not set up to answer questions or manage new clients. Please refrain from utilizing this system for any purpose other than those for which it was designed. Texts which do not meet the above criteria will likely overwhelm the system and will consequently go unanswered. We do hope that you and your pets remain safe and healthy during this difficult time.
At this time, due to Covid, we have had to disable our online appointment feature. Each and every appointment is important to us, but because of high call volume, and our busy schedule, the most efficient and effective way to make an appointment is to call us.
